An interview with Vincenzo Lipari
Vincenzo, it’s great to catch up with you, thanks for taking the time to talk to us! Firstly, for those of us who don’t know, could you tell us a bit about yourself and what your role at Erregame SpA entails?
Of course! It is a pleasure to tell you that I have now been working for Erregame SpA for about 12 years, and thanks to this great company I have grown a lot. I have increased my knowledge, developed my way of relating to customers and learnt that teamwork is vital to becoming a modest seller.
I use the term ' Modest ' because our CEO has taught us just that, to always fly low, even while the company was growing tremendously to what it has become today. It’s important to always remain yourself and keep a level head.
Mr Mario Lavorgna (CEO) is the most respected amongst all the people I have worked with to date. He has managed to build a group (initially of about 10 people, now almost 50!) and to keep us all united, without creating the slightest sense of competition between us.
Erregame has established itself as one of the most dependable names in the industry. How do you think your company has earned this reputation? What is it that sets you apart from the competition?
Erregame SpA has earned this reputation as a result of our way of being and working. Reliability is everything to us; safety, availability of the goods offered, accuracy in payments and dependability on the part of each employee. This is what distinguishes us from the competition.
Erregame has experienced tremendous growth in recent years. To what do you attribute your success?
Certainly, our reliability has played a part in our growth over recent years. Consequently, the positive feedback received from customers and suppliers has allowed us to increase sales and grow our list of customers all over the world.
It has been a disruptive year with Covid-19 wreaking havoc on global economies. How is Erregame faring with the challenges this year has imposed? What measures are you taking to secure your company’s success in these challenging times?
Unfortunately, the Covid period was terrible for many families and companies, especially for those who have lost loved ones. In the meantime, Erregame SpA has always been operational, always continuing to work (with due precautions) to satisfy its customers. In fact, just last year we recorded a strong increase in sales with a consequent increase in turnover.
Moving forward what trends do you see forming in 2021? What are your goals as a company and what strategies are you implementing to achieve them?
Our goals are always to surpass ourselves every year, while we leave the strategies top secret 😊
You’ve been members of IPT for many years now and we’ve seen a lot of changes in the industry together, how would you say being a member of IPT has benefitted your business?
IPT for us represents the Colossus of all international trading platforms. I had the pleasure of meeting you (Ed) about 15 years ago, and it is such a pleasure to continue working together and to have your support. Erregame Spa continues to further increase its business as a direct result of our relationship.
It’s always great to have you join us at ITC! It was a real pleasure to have you partner with us back in 2017 and together, create an unforgettable experience for the delegates! What is it that keeps you coming back to ITC and would you recommend other companies in the industry to attend?
The legendary 2017, when we sponsored the IPT meeting in Malta will remain indelible and unforgettable!
In reality, all the meetings organized by IPT are fantastic, and you’re known as pioneers of bringing the industry together. I believe sponsoring ITC further consecrated Erregame Spa on the international scene; the quality, organisation and professionalism of the event match with how Erregame Spa wishes to present itself on the global stage. Important business is always done, and it’s combined with a lot of fun!
